Gino has some great songs I remember all these songs as a kid and I Love them and I am glad he is still with us.

In the mid-seventies I was at a Weather Report concert and some guy kept shouting out "Gino Vannelli is going to change the music scene, go see him." I had never heard of Gino and scoffed at the arrogance of the shouter. I never forgot that statement and over the next fifty years heard Gino's name a few times, vaguely remember hearing a record of two but I never forgot the claim. Today, when I saw an ad for a concert near my home, I laughed. Gino was still at it, even if he never made it. While his band makes this tract what it is, I have to admit that Gino has over fifty years learned a lot about music. Really like this piece, and his performance; it verges on outstanding. Congrats, Gino, you finally made it in my book.

Additionally, it is difficult to dispute the significant influence of the Scottsboro Case of 1931 as a source of inspiration for the Tom Robinson trial depicted in the TKM.
